Dimensional Weight
While shipping parts in too small a container has its risks, so too does shipping with a box that’s too large. Almost every shipping cost now is calculated using what’s called dimensional weight. Dimensional weight takes the Length, x Width x Height and divides by a factor—one that varies occasionally, and depends on your choice of air or ground service—or the actual weight, whichever is greater.
Right Package = Lower Cost
By cleverly considering the dimensional weight, you can optimize costs for every part you ship. Need help? Let us show you how!
